The Lord Owns the Cattle
This scenic farm scene is found near the hamlet of Callicoon in Sullivan County. Visible on the side of the main barn is the expression “The Lord Owns the Cattle on a Thousand Hills.” This is in reference to Psalm 50:10 which states “For all the animals of the forest are Mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.”
