Saint Joseph’s Church, Stockade District, Kingston

Saint Joseph’s Church was formed in 1867 with the congregation’s purchase of the former Kingston Armory, a New York State training site for soldiers during the Civil War. Saint Joseph’s was the first Catholic Church in Kingston. The church display seen here depicts two children faithfully praying with Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
