The small hamlet of Kauneonga Lake is located in Sullivan County, New York in the southern Catskills. The postcard was published by the Curt Teich Company as part of the “Small Lake Scenes” series, which included 10 different lake scenes. Curt Teich (1877-1974) was one of the largest publishers of postcards in the world. The postcard was mailed in the 1940s.
