Greetings from Rosendale, N.Y.
A quiet riverside scene is depicted in this vintage Catskills postcard titled “Greetings from Rosendale, N.Y.” Rosendale is a small village located between New Paltz to the south and Kingston to the north in Ulster County. The town offers a wealth of activities such as shopping along Main Street, a walk across the Rosendale Trestle and the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail or a visit to the Widow Jane mine at the Snyder Estate. The postcard was published by the Kingston News Service located in Kingston, New York. The postmark on the reverse side shows that it was mailed in 1947.
