Monticello, N.Y.
The village of Monticello is the county seat for Sullivan County, New York. The village was named for the home of Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence and third US president. This postcard was published by photographer Otto Hillig of the farms, fields and mountains surrounding Monticello. The postcard was never mailed.
