View from the Table Rocks at Mohonk Preserve
Table Rocks is an interesting viewpoint with a massive rock “table,” split by deep chasms, and a stunning westerly view to the Catskill Mountains. The “table” is sloped at a relatively steep angle, with numerous open crevices where the rock has split, with many of the crevices being very deep, possibly reaching to over 100 feet deep. Table Rocks was formed by a geological rockslide lasting thousands of years.
