Rondout Waterfront
Rondout Historic District, Kingston
The Rondout Historic District, sometimes referred to as Kingston Landing or The Strand, is situated on the shore of the Rondout Creek in downtown Kingston. Once a thriving commercial harbor, it is now a popular tourist destination with shops, restaurants, waterfront marinas, the Hudson River Maritime Museum and the Trolley Museum of New York. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
