Dr. Luke Kiersted House

The picture perfect Dr. Luke Kiersted House is “an example of late eighteenth century frame house with early Federal detailing” and, being constructed sometime after 1777, is the only pre-1800 clapboard house remaining in the Stockade District of Kingston. The house is name named for Dr. Luke Kiersted, a prominent local physician who practiced between 1767 and 1820 and was a charter member of the Ulster County Medical Society.
