Scene along State Road through Sullivan County, N.Y.
The town of Callicoon is located along the Delaware River in Sullivan County, New York. The town takes its name both the Dutch and Indian word kalkoen, meaning turkey. The postcard was published by famous photographer and adventurer Otto Hillig of Liberty, New York. The postmark on the reverse side shows that it was mailed in 1945.
