View from Stamford Country Club
The Stamford Golf Club, located at the village of Stamford in Delaware County, New York, was organized in 1897. The original 9-hole course was located in Granthurst Park which surrounded the popular Rexmere Hotel. The course, estimated to be the 15th golf course created in the United States, now holds 18 holes and continues to operate today. For more information visit their website at www.stamfordgolfclub.com. The postcard was published by famed photographer Bob Wyer. Although the postcard was mailed the postmark date is illegible.
