Fill ‘Er Up

This abandoned Gulf gas station can be found alongside a busy county highway in the central Catskills. I have driven past the station many times, but only recently decided to stop and photograph. It is not exactly clear when the station was abandoned, but it nonetheless has a few interesting elements that have stood still with time, such as the stacks of tires and hubcaps, an old 7UP soda machine, a pair of analog gas pumps, overgrown vegetation and a decaying building.
